As we enter Year 5, the2026 UA Next All-America Camp – Maui, HI represents the continued growth of an event built to elevate Hawaiʻi’s high school football athletes. What began as a bold vision has evolved into a nationally recognized camp that continues to expand in scale, impact, and opportunity for local athletes.
In just four years, this camp has become the gold standard for elite-level, maximum-exposure football camps in the Hawaiian Islands. Founded by Joseph “Jojo” Dickson Jr., a former collegiate and professional football player turned mentor and coach, and powered by The Underdog Foundation, the camp has consistently provided Hawaiʻi athletes with unparalleled access to high-level coaching, mentorship, and national exposure, while remaining rooted in community impact.
A Proven Track Record of Success
The camp’s impact speaks for itself. Over the past four years, 1,800 athletes have participated, resulting in an average of 12 Division I scholarships per year, representing more than $2 million annually in scholarship value. To date, multiple participants have gone on to become collegiate starters, national top performers, and future NFL Draft prospects.
Additionally, seven standout athletes have earned invitations to the UA All-America Game, the most prestigious high school all-star football game in the nation. These achievements reflect not only individual success, but the camp’s consistent ability to identify, develop, and elevate Hawaiʻi talent on a national stage. Supported by a coaching staff made up of current and former professional and collegiate players who serve as both instructors and mentors.
A Platform for Hawaii’s Youth Athletes
This year, we are continuing to expand our impact by strengthening both our youth development pipeline and our commitment to girls flag football. We will be evaluating and identifying a qualified 8th-grade participant for potential invitation to the UA Next All-America 8th Grade Game, reinforcing our focus on long-term athlete development. At the same time, we are intentionally investing in the growth of girls flag football, with plans to increase participation, exposure, and high-level coaching opportunities for female athletes across Hawaiʻi.
